Plan ahead if you are going to the courthouse!

The court system is no different than any other institution during the Covid-19 pandemic, and where people gather, risk increases. According to the Fifth Judicial District of Pennsylvania website:

Entrance to court facilities and offices is limited to Judges, court personnel, and persons attending court proceedings or having other official business with the court.

The full document detailing their entry rules can be accessed from here.

Just like any other public institution, you can expect that masks and social distancing will be required. If you are unable to comply with these requirements, then according to their site:

...please advise court staff before coming to the facility or when you arrive at the entrance of the facility, or contact the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator to discuss accommodations at 412-350-4044 or 412-350-5419 or by email at courtaccess@alleghenycourts.us.
